I’m thrilled to be doing a concert with Adam Rafferty, a true fingerstyle guitar master from New York City. Check out his version of Stevie Wonder’s Superstition below. It has been seen by over two million people!

In addition to clawhammer banjo, I’ve always been enchanted by fingerstyle guitar. For five years running, I’ve taught a class in Beatles for Fingerstyle at the Old Town School and a few years back put out my first fingerstyle guitar CD, called A-sides, featuring Darol Anger and a host of fine Chicago players.

Along the way, I’ve studied with different folks—jazz great John Moulder, classical phenom Brian Torosian and my newest teacher via video exchange is Adam Rafferty. He just exhales the groove and is a fine musician. Please come and join us.
